The Aurelius Foundation Leadership Conference, Athens

Plato’s Academy Park

Our 2024 Leadership Conference brought the team together in Athens for an inspiring experience of leadership, connection and reflection, set against the backdrop of one of the world’s great centres of history, philosophy and ideas.

The programme featured an exceptional line-up of speakers, including Olympic Gold Medalist Mark Tuitert, Wimbledon Champion Pat Cash, acclaimed historian and author Bettany Hughes, renowned philosopher and author Angie Hobbs, philosopher and founder of Street Epistemology Anthony Magnabosco, and distinguished philosopher and author John Sellars.

Across the conference, we explored leadership, resilience, performance, philosophy and the power of ideas — with conversations designed to challenge perspectives and inspire new thinking.

The experience unfolded across some truly remarkable locations, from Plato’s Academy Park and Cotsen Hall at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens, to a private cruise across the Aegean to the Temple of Poseidon.

A memorable few days of extraordinary people, thought-provoking conversations and shared experiences — bringing together the best of leadership, learning and the spirit of Athens.
